Tay Bunkhouse is situated in the small village of Logierait on the banks of the River Tay. This recently refurbished cottage was once the old post office for the surrounding area. It is situated next to the old church and graveyard. The bunkhouse sleeps 10 people, and is the perfect destination for an affordable, comfortable and relaxing break for friends and families. 

The town of Pitlochry is just 5 minutes’ drive away with local facilities, supermarket, restaurants, bars, pubs, and shops to cater for all tastes and interests.

With over 250 things to see and activities to do in the area, you’ll never run out of things to do in Highland Perthshire.

Eat - Live - Sleep


The lounge has all your home comforts, including sofas, Freeview TV, free WIFI coverage over the whole bunkhouse, dining table and benches. Relax in our Scottish contemporary style lounge after a day of exploring the local area or adventure activities.

Sleeping & WC

We have three bedrooms, two rooms have locally handmade wooden bunk beds with comfy mattresses and a twin room. Your bed will be freshly made up for you on arrival, all linen and towels are provided.

Our rooms sleep 6, 2 and 2 people.

There are two powerful showers, and two toilets downstairs, all fitted with wash basins.


Our fully equipped kitchen is perfect to cater for your group or special occasion. Stocked with all the kitchenware you will need. We offer an electric oven with 4 hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, storage space, and dishwasher.

Outdoor Space

Our garden and outside area is spacious and geared up for entertaining. We have a charcoal BBQ, fire pit and dining space. Perfect for those light evenings. Or keep warm round the fire with a wee dram after an active day.
